Scholarship recital
The Ruby Hay Pianoforte Scholarship Recital will be held in the State Trinity Centre, Worcester Street, on Saturday, at 3 p.m. This year two contestants will compete for the $lOOO award. They are Carol Dodge and Claire McKee. The programme will include music by Scarlatti, Haydn, Beethoven, Martinu and Debussy. The adjudicator for this year’s event will be Jeffrey Grice, a Christchurch born pianist, now resident in Paris. This is a public recital. Admission is free.
