Job fate in envelope

Ninety-three computer workers in Christchurch were each given mystery envelopes yesterday. Employees of the Health Department Computer Centre were given letters telling them whether they had lost their job, had a temporary job, or permanent work. The messages came from Paxus Computer Services, Ltd, which has bought the service,
