Lodge fully booked
The manager of Mount Hutt Lodge, Mr Nick Randall, said yesterday that he had received no cancellations as a result of the temporary closing of the Mount Hutt ski-field last week. “We are very happy with forward bookings,” he said. “In fact, we are fully booked from this week-end through to the end of the August school holidays.”
Mount Hutt Lodge, which is near the Rakaia Gorge, is not associated with the Mount Hutt Country Club, a new motor hotel at Methven. The lat-' ter was incorrectly referred to as the Mount Hutt Country Lodge in “The Press” last Saturday, and Mr Randall is concerned that comments made by the club’s manager might mistakenly be connected to his lodge.
