Green car sought
A green Toyota Corolla car is sought by the police in connection with the robbery of a taxi-driver on Saturday evening. The driver, who was knocked unconscious, had picked up a man at the corner of Somerfield Street and Colombo Street about 7.45 p.m. The fare asked to go to the Sign of the Kiwi. He
asked the driver to turn round at a lay-by on Dyers Pass Road, between the Sign of the Takahe and the Sign of the Kiwi, where the Corolla was parked. After robbing the taxidriver of his wallet and $5O cash, the man left in the Corolla, about a 1979 model, with another person.
