Chairman to collect head
PA Wellington The chairman of the Maori Council, Sir Graham Latimer, left for London yesterday to collect the tattooed head which sparked an international debate on cultural sensitivity. The moko mokai was owned by a Suffolk woman, Mrs Nancy Weller-Poley of Glemsford. ’ The head is to be exchanged for a greenstone mere.
