PA Wanganui The victims of a car crash early Saturday morning in Wanganui were found seven hours after, the Wanganui police said yesterday. Two people were killed and another seriously injured when a 1968 Vauxhall Victor struck a tree in Kowhai Park.
The Wanganui police said they estimated the accident happened at 12.15 a.m. on Saturday but the car and its occupants were not spotted until 7.15 a.m. said Senior-Sergeant Neville Haggart yesterday. Killed in the crash were
Donald Kerry Binns, aged 20, of Wanganui, who was the driver, and Joanne Kathleen Gillespie, aged 17, also of Wanganui, who was the front seat passenger.
