Lottery Board liaises over use of funds
PA Wellington The Lottery Board is liaising with the Social Welfare Department to make the best use of
funds available to help solve the problems of sexual abuse and family violence. The board’s welfare
chairman, Mr Ray Burns, said his committee believed that area had the greatest welfare need in the community. The committee had budgeted a substantial amount of its available funds this year to help organisations working on sexual abuse and family violence.
