Cup to Harlequins
PA London The London club, Harlequins, played its New Zealand-style running game to beat Bristol, 28-22, and take the John Player Cup rugby final at Twickenham. The former All Black and Wellington player, Jamie Salmon, kicked three penalties and a conversion to help Quins to the cup and their first win over Bristol since 1972.
