Ford plant to close in May

PA | , Wellington Production at the Ford Motor Company’s plant, at Seaview,I Lower Hutt, will stop in May, according to the secretary of the Wellington Coachworkers’ Union, ; Mr Graeme Clarke. [ Ford announced in February last year that it would close the plant and do all [ assembly at its Auckland plant. Mr Clarke said about 100 of the 230 coachworkers employed at the plant when redundancies were announced i were still working.
