Power board settlements
The award covering clerical workers in four Canterbury power baords has been settled, said the secretary of the Canterbury Clerical Workers’ Union, Mr Leon Morel, yesterday. The union settled at 7.5 per cent wage rises for the northern, central, Ashburton and Timaru electric power boards, he said. - The deal also included increased service allowances and conditions.
