A visit to Peacock Springs will be included in the Christchurch Transport Board’s tour to Orana Park from the end of the month:
The board hopes the opportunity to visit the wildlife reserve, not normally open to the public, will attract more people to its Orana Park tour.
The board’s deputy general manager, Mr Tony
Francis, expressed some concern about the reaction to the new $l6 adult fare for the two attractions.
A board member, Mr lan Rivers, said it was excellent value for money, by both local and international standards. The visit to Peacock Springs as part of the Orana Park tour will begin on February 24.
