Decision time for Alf
Alf the urbane alien has to make the choice between Earth and his native Melmac in the final of “Alf this evening at 7 p.m. on Two. The normally cool space creature is suffering a bad bout of home sickness, and becomes more depressed as he recalls his last birthday on Melmac and a date he had planned with Rhonda, the girl of his dreams. But does he really want to leave his new family and the little luxuries he has come to know and love on Earth, like tin cans and cats for breakfast?
Replacing “Alf” next week at 7 p.m. is a new series of "Charles in Charge," starring Scott Baio as the student who combines study with looking after three lively kids. And while “Alf” may be gone, he is not forgotten; in the first episode of “Charles in Charge,” Charles and Adam witness a U.F.O. sighting, and the girls chase a furry creature they believe to be an alien through the house.
