Probation officer retires

One of the Justice Department’s longest serving probation officers will be bidden farewell this evening. Miss Rosemary Craven is leaving the department after 33 years. She has been with the public, service for 40 years and has been with the Justice Department, Christchurch, for the last 33 years. Miss Craven, a social worker, will be officially farewelled by the Minister of Justice, Mr Palmer, at a function this evening.
