Happy well
The Happy Valley-1A well 20km west of Clifden in Western Southland was running back to bottom with a changed drilling assembly in preparation for drilling ahead, Petrocorp said. The well was at 1432 metres at 6 a.m. yesterday. Target depth is 3300 m. No progress had been made over the past week, Petrocorp said. Swelling formation conditions and pieces of broken drilling assembly lodged in the well preventing progress.
