Sydenham Cemetery

Sir, —I would like to express my thanks and congratulations to the people responsible for tidying up the Sydenham cemetery. When last Christmas I went there, I felt very upset at the state of the grounds, and some headstones and ornaments were broken or pushed over by vandals. I am sure everyone who visited this Christmas would be very pleased at the way every grave and the grounds looked. I only hope all the vandals have a little thought for our loved ones resting there and the people who worked so hard to clear it all up. — Yours, etc., SALLY MILLAR. December 30, 1987.
