Diana less popular
NZPA-PA London The Princess of Wales has taken a tumble in the Royal popularity stakes, according to a new poll. She has been voted into sixth place — below the Duchess of York and Princess Anne — after another survey recently put her in second place to the Queen. The Queen is also top of the latest survey, with her youngest son Prince Edward again at the bottom when people were asked which member of
the Royal Family they most liked. But his decision to quit the Royal Marines won the backing of the vast majority questioned in the poll published in the “Sunday Express.” A total of 60 per cent thought he was right to quit and only 24 per. cent believed he was wrong. Women were strong supporters of Prince Edward whose decision is known’ to have angered Prince Philip.
