HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL FENCING OF SWIMMING POOLS NOTICE is given that In accordance with Section 681 (2) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Heathcote County Council has resolved by special order to make the Heathcote County Restriction of Access to Private Swimming Pools Bylaw 1984 Revocation Bylaw 1987. The purport of the new Bylaw is to revoke the 1984 Bylaw as the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 has superceded the 1984 Bylaw. Notice is further given that the special order will be submitted for confirmation at the Council meeting to be held in the Heathcote County Council chambers, 66 Colombo Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, December 17, 1987. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION; That portion ob Bealey Road to be closed is situated In and adjacent to the Waireka riverbed running south-east from a point on the western bank of the Waireka River some 370 metres to the eastern bank then some 563 metres east to link up with the realigned formed road. PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL: It Is proposed to dispose of the closed road to adjoining landowners for private use as it is not required as part of the realigned road.
