Public Notices HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL RAISING OF LOAN NOTICE Is given that In accordance with Section 34 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Heathcote County Council has resolved by special order to raise a special loan of $57,138 to be known as the Port Hills Energy Authority Load Control Equipment Loan 1987. The loan will form part of a Joint special loan with the Lyttelton Borough Council for a total sum of $170,000 to be used for the purpose of purchasing and installing electricity load control equipment for the Heathcote Valley and Lyttelton areas. The loan is to be for a 20 year term at a market rate of Interest; the loan is to be secured by the revenues of the Port Hills Energy Authority. The National Provident Fund Board Is to be appointed the Sinking Fund Commissioner. A poll of electors of the County will be required to be taken if not less than 15 per cent of the electors so demand. Every person who signs a demand must also state the person’s name and address; the demand for a poll must be in the hands of the undersigned by 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 1987. Notice is further given that the special order will be submitted for confirmation at the Council meeting to be held In the Heathcote County Council chambers, 66. Colombo Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, December 17, 1987. A copy of the special order Is available for Inspection at the Council office during usual office hours. P. T. COONEY, County Clerk.
