PA Wellington The Government should "get on with the job” of improving economic efficiency, Federated Farmers’ president Mr Brian Chamberlin said. “Exporters and other industries face high interest, inflation and exchange rates,” he said. “Unless costs within New Zealand are heavily reduced, more efficient exporting and manufacturing industries will die and our overseas debt will increase."
