Bayer Classic first acceptances

PA Palmerston North Candide and Weston Lea, the winners of the One Thousand and Two Thousand Guineas respectively, head the first acceptances for the rich Bayer Classic at the Levin Racing Club meeting next week. The Wellington Guineas and Manawatu Sires’ Produce winner, Satisfy, is also among the acceptances as well as Westminster and Serestrina, the runners-up at Riccarton. Other notables entered only 10 days before the event are Dashing King, Impasada, Injustice and Pikeson. The leading candidates for a final place in the race are:— Accountant, Candide, Chad, Dashing King, El Capitan, Festal, Grey Tribute, Higgins, If Ever, Impasada, Injustice, Jennifer Rush, Martelomeo, Open Terrain, Pikeson, Reception, Satisfy, Serestrina, Sound Belt, Spyglass, Torcelio, Westminster, Weston Lea and Young Indian.
