Unrestricted courses

Lincoln University College otters commerce courses for which there are no entry restrictions, says the college’s professor of finance and accounting, Professor Roger Juchau. Professor Juchau was commenting on a report in “The Press” on Wednesday, which said that five out of six New Zealand universities, including Canterbury, were restricting entry to undergraduate commerce

courses. Lincoln is regarded by the New Zealand Society of Accountants as a separate institution (from Canterbury University) offering commerce degrees in accounting, which lead to the society’s qualification, Professor Juchau said. Lincoln University College otters seven options in its commerce courses, including financial management, marketing and business, economics, and applied computing.
