A Christchurch artist, Rodney Wells, autographs a copy of “In a Country Churchyard” for the Bishop of Christchurch, the Rt Rev. Maurice Goodall, at the formal launching of the book last evening. Fifty drawings of country churches by Mr Wells, with text by Tessa Ward, are included in the book, published by The Caxton Press. The drawings and articles are selected from a series printed in “The Press.” The first edition is limited to 1500 copies.
