Fernz bid rejected
The directors of Fernz Corporation have unanimously recommended that shareholders reject the take-over offer from Unigroup Pacific. The Fernz board considered the offer inadequate because it did not reflect the enhanced profitability which would result from the restructured company, said the chairman, Mr W. Wilson. The directors would send a detailed analysis of their advice to shareholders once they had received Unigroup*s offer.
