lEP purchases Industrial Equity (Pacific) said it now held 21.71 per cent of Sommerville (William) and Son, pic, a Midlothian company listed on the London Stock Exchange. It also held 5.63 per cent of Caledonia Investments, pic, a London company listed in London, and 4.27 per cent of Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, pic, an Edinburgh company listed in London. It had sold some shares in Frawley Corporation, a Delaware company traded over the counter in the United States, and now holds less than 5 per cent of the shares in that company. Pac Dunlop issue Pacific Dunlop said it has made a placement to institutions of 20M shares atsAusts.Bo each. The placement, representing 3.8 per cent! of the existing issued capital, raised SII6M.
