Zeffirelli

Franco Zeffirelli’s “Romeo and Juliet” will begin screening at the Academy tomorrow. Starring Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, the film will show at the 5.30 p.m. early sessions. “Romeo and Juliet” was made in 1968, when Hussey was - aged 15, and Whiting was 17. Also beginning at the Academy is “Blood Simple,” a murder-mys-tery written and directed by the Coen brothers. The film is about adultery, revenge and the supposed perfect murder. “Blood Simple” is possessed by the same fatalism as such film noir classics as “Double Indemnity” and “The Postman''** Always Rings Twice,’* wrote one critic. ni . . • .■■
