Sir,—J. Wilkinson, secretary of Truth; about Southern Africa (October 5), perhaps believes that a drive around selected southern African suburbs qualifies one as an expert on held. In my first couple of months of living in California, I visited Beverly Hills, and was impressed by the affltf? ence evident there.
