PA Palmerston North A motor-cyclist died after being, involved in an accident - with two buses packed with schoolchildren and a truck outside Palmerston? North Hospital yesterday. He was. Christopher Allan Ireland,- aged 16, a Palmerston North Boyb’ High School pupil. He: died about two hours after the 8.40 a.m. accident ? Ninety-six pupils from Milson Primary School were leaving on a bus trip when . the accident occurred in Ruahlne Street Thirteen of the children and the truck driver were treated for shock, cuts and bruises. None was admitted to hospital. Witnesses said one of the buses stopped at a pedestrian crossing and was struck from behind by the other bus. ~ The motor-cycle was sandwiched between the second bus and the truck.
