Most of the boys not “up to scratch” at last Wednesday's assembly had turned up for school t on Monday with their hair tidied, he said. < Those still with unacceptable hair at Monday’s inspection were checked again yesterday morning and they had said they would make efforts to right themselves as soon as they were able to get hair appointments, he said. Mr Bennett said he made the inspections himself for the sake of consistency. -
