Chilean may appeal
PA Hamilton Mario Saez, a Chilean, is considering taking his case to court in a bid to remain in New Zealand. The Minister of Immigration, Mr Rodger, last week rejected his application to remain in New Zealand and ordered that he leave by October 23. But Mr Saez was determined to fight the decision, said his Hamilton sponsor, Mr Joe di Maio. “We are awaiting consultation with a solicitor and are possibly looking at court action.” “He is more confident and looking at things on the bright side now.”
Mr Saez had received an offer of accommodation In Samoa if his appeal failed, but they would wait two to three days . before considering the option, Mr di Maio said.!
