Public Notices ROTORUA GEOTHERMAL FIELD DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN THE Bay of Plenty Catchment Commission and Regional Water Board advises that the above Draft Management Plan is still available for public comment. The Plan attempts to reconcile the issues of restoration and preservation of the field with Its development as a source of geothermal water and energy. The Plan has applied current scientific understanding of the field to develop strategies for management which will resolve the conflict. Reduction In wastage of drawoff through increased efficiency of use. Copies of the plan are available to interested parties at a cost of $18.70 from the Commission, P.O. Box 364, Whakatane or Rotorua Geothermal Group, 28 Fenton Street, P.O. Box 1245, Rotorua.
