xccess TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT THE Canterbury Regional Employment and Access Council administers the Access Programme in the Canterbury region. The Council wants applications from organisations, employers and individuals wishing to provide Access training in the next financial year (April 1, 1988 to March 31, 1989). Applications should be one page outlines of the training to be offered and should include the following information only: 1. A brief description of the type of training. 2. A brief description of the type of trainee for who the course is designed. • 3. The number of trainees for which the course is designed. 4. The number of courses to be offered over the whole year. 5. The cost per trainee per week inclusive of GST. 6. The total cost of the course(s) inclusive of GST. 7. The expected results of the training in terms of numbers of trainees going on to employment or further education and training, or showing enhanced work readiness. CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL GRANTING OF EXCLUSIVE USE AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF CHRISTCHURCH COT BYLAW NO. 120 FOR PORTION OF ESTUARY WATERS PUBLIC NOTICE Is hereby given pursuant to Clause 17 of Christchurch City Bylaw No. 120 that the New Brighton Power Boat Club has been granted the exclusive use of the waters of the Estuary for the purpose of conducting activities in the vicinity of the South Brighton jetty and extending to the line of orange marker buoys to the west of the power boat course on the undermentioned days. It is hereby further declared that within that area the provisions of Clause 8 of Bylaw No. 120 (relating to speed restrictions) shall not apply on those days. It is notified, further, that pursuant to the provisions of Clause 17 of Bylaw No. 120 the testing of boats will be permitted for one hour on one week day during the week preceding each race day between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. It is declared, further, that as the Council is of the opinion that there are special circumstances so justifying and that there will be no danger to the public, the provisions of Clause 17(cXD of Bylaw No. 120 shall not apply in respect of the maximum number of race meetings in any two month calendar period.
