Well depth

The Kokatahi 1 well, located 17km south-east of Hokitika near Lake Kanlere, reached a depth of 400 metres by 6 am. yesterday, Petrocorp Exploration, Ltd, said. At report time the well was ready to drill ahead after running and cementing casing on Sunday. The well is being drilled to an anticipated total depth of 1450 metres to test the hydrocarbon potential of the Paparoa and Brunner coal measures.
