Strings, piano

The regular trio of the University of Canterbury — Jan Tawroszewicz, violin, James Tennant, cello and Maurice Till, piano — will be joined by Rachel Thompson, viola, arid Susan-Jane Higgs, violin, for a recital in the Limes Room of the Christchurch Town Hall tomorrow. The programme will consist of two works written for the piano quartet

combination — the G minor quartet of Mozart and the Brahms quartet in A major. The third work on the programme is the Piano Quintet in E flat by Schumann.

This is the second of three recitals presented as the Westpac Series by the School of Music. 4. The recital will begin at 8 p.m.
