Clapperton to ride at Timaru
PA Timaru The in-form Central Districts apprentice, Kim Clapperton, will ride at the Timaru Racing Club’s meeting at the Phar Lap Raceway on Friday,
Clapperton will ride the smart colt, Windsor’s Pal, in the $lO,OOO Timaru Herald Stakes, a weight-for-age sprint, and Count Claudio in the $lO,OOO Sattherthwaite and Co. 10,000. Count Claudio won the Geraldine Cup at his last start and was in good form throughout the winter.
Clapperton has also been engaged to ride Red Rainee, Tawlist, Lady Evergreen, Sun Pal and Gratify.
