PA Wellington New Zealander Glen Wilson has been seeded No 1 for the Australian under-17 squash championships which begin in Brisbane on Friday. • Wilson, aged 16, is part of a six-strong New Zealand team competing as part of the build-up to the world junior squash championships in Scotland As well as competing in the Australian age group championships, the New Zealanders will play a series of matches against top Queensland league sides.

The team is: Wilson, Andrew Clarke, Jason McLauchlan, Tristan Franklin, Paul, Steel (under-17); Matthew Taylor (under-15).
