This year’s commissioned work from a New Zealand composer is “A Secular Litany” by David Griffiths, a bass baritone now living in Dunedin.
The choir will make a second recording for radio’s Concert Programme at the end of the year.
Next year will start with the first South Island performance of John Rutter’s new "Requiem.” Mr Setchell said the choir was always pleased to hear from anyone wanting to audition for vacancies.
