LSD seized
A Police-Customs operation has led to the seizing of LSD tabs valued at $lO,OOO and the arrest of a Christchurch man for importing the drug and possessing it for supply. The LSD, posted from the Netherlands, was intercepted in Wellington last week by a border protection unit of Customs.
Customs then teamed with the police and delivered the 400 tabs to a city address. On Friday the house was raided and a man, aged 41, arrested. The Collector of Customs in Wellington, Mr Tom Dunn, would not be drawn on how the unit discovered the Class A drug.
