Bowie best thrower

Peter Bowie, a young Christchurch man now living in California, won the open section of the world frisbeethrowing tournament in Colorado earlier this month. Bowie won the tournament by 27 points from Ron Vingerelli, of California.

The success has earned Bowie ' endorsement offers from clothing and disc manufacturers. He will be sponsored on a tour to New Zealand and Australia over the Christmas-New Year period to defend titles he won in both countries.
