Break-in traps trio

Burglars who lowered themselves by rope into the Belfast Road premises of Dingwall and Paulger, Ltd, were unable to leave the building. The two men and a woman also triggered an alarm and were arrested soon after by the police for burglary. Detective Senior-Ser-geant Colin Dalzell said the three lifted roofing iron and lowered themselves inside from a rope they tied to a rafter. They then gathered up 30 cartons of cigarettes before discovering there was no way out. The break-in occurred just before midnight on Sunday.
