Fibre will fill you up

PORTER SHIMER
Want your stomach to be full and flat too? A high fibre diet could be the way, suggests a recent study from researchers at
the University of Alabama. Twenty pople were allowed to eat all they wanted of a high-fibre diet for five days (including lots of fruits, vegetables, whole-grain cereals and breads), and then all they wanted of a
typically American lowfibre diet for five days. Sure enough, people consumed twice as many calories on the low-fibre regimen as they did on the high-fibre plan.- Satisfaction with the two menus, surprisingly, was reported to be equal.
