Maximum security
Peter Joseph Holdem, convicted on Monday of the murder of Louisa Damodran, aged six, will be transferred to Auckland’s Paremoremo Maximum Security Prison. Holdem, aged 30, was returned to Christchurch on Tuesday after his trial at Dunedin and was placed in Paparua Prison. Holdem has been kept apart from other prisoners because of fears that he might be attacked by other inmates.
