Smear tests
Sir,—Three years ago it took one week to get the results from a "Pap" smear test. Now it takes three weeks. Why? If one has to have another test because of an abnormality, that means another three weeks. That is six weeks before any action can be taken. I do not think this is good enough. Can something be done?—Yours, etC ” (Mrs) A. H. HENNESSY. Kaikoura, June 17, 1987.
