Country milk
Sir,—We see advertising on television advocating support to retain home milk delivery. It seems that there is one law for
town and another for the country. Once again, another service to the rural community is to be cut without looking for possible solutions. Without subsidies, milk deliveries are to cease in the Coalgate, Glentunnel and Hororata areas. Perhaps a small rise in the price of milk could make deliveries economic? One thing for certain, the customer has not been consulted or thought of.— Yours, etc., B. KARST, Coalgate. June 17, 1987.
