S.P.C.A. boycott delay welcomed
Wellinton reporter The S.P.C.A.’s move to delay a world boycott of live sheep exports from New Zealand and Australia has been welcomed by the Minister of Overseas Trade, Mr Moore. The director of the South Pacific region of the R.S.P.C.A., New Zealand’s S.P.C.A. director, Neil Wells, has said- he will recommend a year’s delay in the boycott to the world society meeting in France this month. Mr Wells said both the Australian and New Zealand Governments had responded well, to calls for reform in the live sheep trade.
