Swimmer’s Aust, placing

Louise Cherrie, a young Christchurch synchronised swimmer, finished sixth in the 12 years and under solo section at the Australian championships in Brisbane recently.

It was Cherrie’s first international competition. There was a field of 15. She was the only Canterbury member of a New Zealand team of seven which competed in the championships.
