Productivity
Sir,—l read with considerable interest the article by Mr Wolf Rosenburg (April 29). The comparison he draws of New Zealand with Latin America is, without doubt, correct. If only we could have intelligent people like Mr Rosenburg leading this country we would not be heading for bankruptcy as we no doubt are. A better country to follow would be Japan which has had high import tariffs, thus keeping imports low and improving internal productivity. — Yours, etc,. N. WOOD. Ashley, April 30, 1987.
