Skinheads
Groups of Right-wing skinheads, celebrating Adolf Hitler’s birthday, fought running street battles with Turkish youths. About 35 of the Rightwing extremists gathered in the centre of the lower Saxony town of Northeim to celebrate the late Nazi dictator’s birthday. After police chased them away from the centre of town, the skinheads attacked a group of Turkish youths. Other groups of Turks then went searching for the skinheads, and the fighting spread throughout the town. — Northeim, West Germany.
