Alphabet pasta available
New products available on the supermarket shelf this month include an alternative to tinned spaghetti and tomato sauce. • Wattle’s have brought out a 440 g tin of alphabet pasta with tomato sauce. The pasta includes the whole range of letters, from A to Z, and comes in the same tomato sauce as Wattle’s spaghetti. Another pasta product will be on the shelves soon. An Australian company plans to export a variety of fresh pasta to New Zealand in the next few months. The fresh pasta has a different texture to dried pasta and cooks in five minutes. Jacks have brought out a new twin pack of potato chips which contains two 50g packs. Eta has reintroduced traditional crin-kle-cut chips.to its range. Edmonds have a new product, "Ready Recipe,” which consists of dried potato fritters with an easy sauce. They have also increased the range of Rice Rissotto to include barbecue, chicken and seafood flavours.
