New baggage conveyers

Christchurch Airport’s domestic baggage conveyer will be divided in two and extended. The revamped conveyers are intended to be in place by July when the new Ansett terminal is commissioned. They will cost about $BO,OOO.

The airport director, Mr Hugh McCarroll, said the two conveyers would provide more belt space than the existing belt.
