May date for drug?
PA Wellington Supplies of the drug, azidethymidine (A.Z.T.), used to treat A.I.D.S. patients should be available in New Zealand in mid-May, according to the» Minister of Health, Dr Bassett. Asked about the Ameri-can-made drug in a Parliamentary question, the Minister said the medicine was in the process of being approved by the Health Department.
